Signing up for part be can seem like a very overwhelming and complicated step in transitioning into senior healthcare, Which is why I decided to create this article. First things first is understanding when you should apply for Medicare. Unless you have created an account with social security or work for the Railroad, you will need to apply for Medicare Part A when you turn 65 years old. If you are still working and your company have more the 20 employees then I would recommend you defer your Part B until you decided to retire in order to avoid paying for your Part B premium.
After deciding you’re ready for apply for Medicare I have listed 3 ways to apply for Medicare Part A and Part B.
1.) Online Application. If you speak with in employee that works in the Social Security office they will tell you that the fastest way to apply for your Medicare would be doing it online. Personally I prefer the second option which is faxing the form required into your local Social Security office.
I have attached the link below in order to start the process.

This option can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to process your Application
2.) Faxing in the Application. This option is my favorite option personal, because I just fax in my the form to my local Social Security and don’t have to deal with any online technology. Maybe I’m just old fashion, but this is definitely an effective way of applying for Medicare Benefits.
Faxing your Application can take your local Social Security office anywhere from 2-4 weeks to process your application.
3.) Mailing in the Application. This option is very similar to the Faxing option but the only difference is instead of scanning in your application you just mail in the form to your local Social Security office. This option would probably be the slowest option being that you have the give the mail delivery service 3-5 business days to deliver the application to your local Social Security office.
In conclusion, these are your three ways to sign up for your Medicare Benefits.
